Healing springs

Pozar baths or Loutraki Aridaia Bath is a summer and winter destination for all who wish to enjoy a respite from everyday life and the healing properties of the hot baths waters in Loutra Pozar.

The famous spa facilities feature two unique spa centers. The first operates since 1960 and includes forty-eight individual baths and two indoor pools have dimensions 3×7 meters and a height of one and half meters and may service twelve people maximum.

There are two individual steam with their sources to gush through literally from the ground and fit up to 6 people.

The geothermal energy from hot springs creates a uniquely enjoyable atmosphere for lovers of vapor treatment. In 2005 started to operate a new spa center including six individual private waterfalls and pools, with a total capacity of about 6 people each.

Local Museum

Aridaia

Bones, ancient objects and tools, ceramics, wood and metal, exposed on benches and shelves, followed by explanations and descriptions. Photos and drawings, hanging close to the findings, describe and complete the whole picture of objects.
Also from the museum you can buy souvenirs and photos, to remind your
magical moments of peace and tranquility in Pozar.

The Castle of Chrysis

The Byzantine Castle of Golden is located 7km away from Aridaia, dating to the 8th century AD. North of Aridea lies a historic, though not very well-known Monastery of the Province of Almopia, the Holy Monastery of Saint Hilarion, Bishop of Moglene.

Food

From wood-fired oven, large skewers and appetizers to tsipouro and local wine production, the area is full of traditional shops and restaurants.
